FIVE FREE IDEAS FOR FUN THIS MONTH.

This month of October is a great month to schedule a few activities just for fun. In less than 90 days, 2010 will be over and if you have been working all throughout the year without taking a break, changes are, you will be exhausted or deeply desiring to getaway.

Don't plan this too much. Don't take away from your regular activities either. Simply incorporate some or all of these suggestions to your every day life just for this month. The game is to change your life just a bit, so you get a different perspective. The goal is to have fun as you do it.

1.- Visit a nearby book store by yourself. Spend at least one hour. Just walk around. Find a book, calendar or a magazine that calls your attention.

2.- Find a quiet beautiful spot in your city, such as: the beach, a river, a mountain view, a lake, a wonderful tree, a golf course. Take your lunch box with you. Take also a chair or sit on the ground. Spend another good hour. Depending on your mood, go by yourself or maybe invite a friend or a special someone. Just make sure, you will truly enjoy that hour and that you will have a wonderful lunch-time.

3.- Gift yourself the privilege of no-phone-calls- for-the-weekend. Simply put, on Friday afternoon turn off your cellphone. Stick to it. No cheating, please. Put it back on Monday morning when you return to your regular business activities. In the meantime, decide to just rest, listen to music, write on your journal, read a good book, or simply DO NOTHING.

4.- Check on your local area where you can go where there is live music on a weekday. Go and enjoy listening to music, looking at people have fun, maybe dancing. Good positive vibrations are contegious. It will make you feel good.

5.- Think of which new language you would like to speak in the next 6 months. Make it fun. Make it your hobby.

But best of all, in all of the above-mentioned ideas, you don't have to spend a penny. FREE, FREE, FREE so there is no excuse for you not to try them.

What can you do to make your life more exciting???

Every day is an opportunity we all have to make something different with our lives. But we rather continue doing the same exact thing every single day even though we wish to make a change. Why is that??? Because it is easier to keep doing the same thing over and over again even when we hate it. So, STOP TORTURING YOURSELF !!!

It is amazing to come up with changes. Especially if they will allow you to do all those things you always wanted to do. Dare to take to first step. Make the decision. Then, simply, take ACTION.

Dare to travel. Dare to visit all the best known restaurants in your area. Look for new places you wish to visit. Check out airplane ticket prices, or maybe figure out how many miles from where you are to that beautiful spot you will be going soon. Make it a game. Make it FUN.

When you play a game, you have fun while doing it. Well, that is the same thing you should do with your own life. Life is meant to be fun, exciting and full of great opportunities. So why we all try to change it and struggle. STOP THE VICIOUS CYCLE.

Wake up and listen to your own gut feeling. If you want to travel, just do it. If you want to divorce your husband or wife for 20 years because you are no longer happy, then just do it.
If you want to get rid of your debts and start all over again, then file a chapter 7 bankruptcy, and start fresh again. If you are tired of trying diets that don't work, then stop depriving yourself of all the great foods you love.

In my case, I do exactly what I love doing every single day of my life. I eat exactly what I crave for every day. I always look forward having a good night sleep. I love learning new things. I read at least 1-2 books every month. I visit new places all the time. I choose to be happy as much as possible because it is actually better; and the better I feel the more of good things I attract to myself.

Stay away from negativity, bad news, contaminating people, unhappy family or friends. You choose what and who you let into your life, so be aware of it.

In conclusion, do what you truly feel like doing. Dare to enjoy your life. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. The difference lies on what we do with that time.

Who said that making a Million Dollars was that Hard???

Looking into real estate can make you a self-made millionaire in no time. I am not saying that it will happen overnight, what I am saying is that if you apply yourself correctly and follow certain steps, you can, for sure, become a self-made millionaire.

People generally believe that is difficult to make money. And guess what?, if that is what you think, it will be that way. But I have news for you. Start by changing your attitude about making money. Open yourself up to the new great opportunities out there TODAY. You will find endless ways to make that extra income you so much yearn for.

I personally recommend real estate. Think about this: Imagine you buy 4 properties of $250,000 or maybe 8 properties of $125,000. That will make you technically a self-made millionaire because you own the assets. Forget about what anyone will say. The reality is that you need to start at some point. If you only cash in 10% of that, you can enjoy a nice $100,000 for the first year, and you still own a million dollars in properties.

But, where is the trick???

You need to know how to apply a good formula so the numbers make sense and you don't end up with the water above the neck.

In today's economy more than ever, you need to learn to buy right. You need to know what your expenses and costs are going to be on a monthly basis, so you can prepare yourself accordingly.

If you get a property in the $50,000 dollar range, with good equity in today's soft economy, you will be ahead of the game.

"THIS IS THE BEST TIME IN HISTORY TO BUY REAL ESTATE."

A house worth today between $80,000-$90,000 that you can buy for $45,000-$55,000 can make you at closing at least $5,000 and monthly can put in your pocket $300-$500, to be conservative. When you buy 10 properties following this simple formula, just do the math.

You can do this plan in 1 year. You can build your first million dollars in assets.

Learn the tricks; educate yourself the most you can; network with successful people that are currently involved in buying foreclosed properties; join local investor's groups in your area; search for private lenders; get familiar with the topic.

Make the decision TODAY to become independent. It can be very rewarding for you and your family no matter where you are right now.

Don't think about it so much, just "DO IT BY DOING IT."

Are we there Yet? Almost, Don't Give Up!

I am sure you have heard this question before, are we there yet? I know for parents this is a very common question. I also know that many adults ask themselves, are we there yet?

Which adults am I referring to? The risk takers, the entrepreneurs and the self employed ones.

As an entrepreneur, I can relate to all of you that are risk takers. At times I have asked myself how much longer can I hold on? how much further can I really go? how long is it going to take to see an actual profit? I am sure you know what I am talking about.

As a Real Estate Developer I have seen a great deal of changes in the Real Estate market. As you all know the market crumbled and little by little is getting back up. I am grateful for all the things that I've being able to accomplish during these past years.

As of December of 2009, I've started developing different projects. I am working with great people. I am grateful for the private lenders that are working with me; however, at times I ask Am I there yet?. This happens to all of us. We start doubting and questioning our abilities to achieve our goals. I always get there. I make sure I get up every day to do my part. It doesn't matter how tough, how hard, or how tired I am. I get the work done.

I DO NOT GIVE UP!!! I am very persistent. I love what I do. I am very passionate when it comes to Real Estate. It doesn't matter what others think, I know I can make it happen. My advise to all of you that are wondering if you are there yet: DO NOT GIVE UP!!! DO NOT THROW THE TOWEL!!! Keep working until you get there.

The moment that you feel weak in the knees, get up, and go out there one more time. Do it for you and do not let any one get in your way.

Are we there Yet??? You will make it there. DO NOT GIVE UP. Make your life worth living.

Believe in you! These are the most important words I can say to anyone.

I believe in me; therefore, I also believe in you. I will not judge you. I will not criticize you. All I can do is Believe in You.

Do you believe in you?

I know that people are very quick to judge. They often have opinions on how others should live their lives. Why do you allow these people to bring you down? Why do you allow them to make you doubt your potential? Why do you stop believing in you?

In my case, I always take the time to get to know people and I keep an open mind to understand that they are different.

I believe that even though we are different, we all have one thing in common. We all want to live a better life. In my own personal opinion, people live in such a rush that they do not take the time to stop and smell the roses. They forget that they can create the life that they want. They stop believing in their potential to be all that they can be.

People become underachivers and they settle rather quickly. Comformist is the word that describes these individuals. People stop believing in themselves. They neglect to nourish their passion. They do not allow themselves to dream, to create and to make their lives worth living.

Happiness is just a few steps away, yet people give up instantly. Once again, they stop believing.

All I can say is Believe in you. You will see how powerful you will become. I believe in Me; therefore, I believe in You. Do not allow people to crush your ideas. Do not allow them to shatter your dreams. Believe in you and you will achieve all you set your mind to achieve. Feed yourself with doses of positive thoughts. Sorround yourself with like-minded individuals. Change your thoughts and attract love, wealth, health and happiness.

What do I mean by a Simple Life?

Well, let me start by telling you that even though I am a very busy person, I will always find time to have Fun. It is very important for all of us to find that balance between work and pleasure. I found it. I found it by living a simple life. I've learned to enjoy nature and to embrace it. It doesn't matter how good or bad the weather is and it doesn't matter if I'm here in Florida or in China. I am loving each and every day. I am rejuvenating each day that goes by. Nature has become a great and exciting habit. I am hooked.

I love the fact that I wake up to the sweet smell of orange grooves, the birds singing and the morning dew. The occasional fog and the country side leaf crackling noise. You see, it is that simple. I know that for some of you this might not sound like fun, but I know that for a few of you this might be something to look forward doing.

Nature has given me the serenity that I need to keep creating. It has given me the energy that I need to produce new ideas and to work on my projects. All it takes is a few weekend retreats to replenish yourself. Peaceful and tranquil are the words that I can use to describe my life. I have left all of the metropolitan turmoils behind.

I hope you can find the peace and quiet that you need to balance your life. Please take my advice, find the time to live your simple life.

Success is a wonderful word and a wonderful concept. Its definition is different for every one. Success depends on what you are looking for in your life or in business. There are people that find success immediately and there are people that spend all of their life searching for it.

Here are some ways people describe success: to some people success means to live healthy, to have a partner and to others it means having money and /or a good career. What is success to me?

Success to me is what I strive for and accomplish every day. In my experience, to be successful have nothing to do with acquiring power, wealth or fame. These are by-products or by-results that sometimes accompany your so-called success.

Success is what I make it. I live a busy life; therefore, I find myself setting small everyday goals that make my life easier and more productive. I work very hard to accomplish all of them. The feeling of accomplishment is what makes me successful. I am the fierce example of many women that juggle business and family life. In general, I can say that I am a business woman from 7:30am until 5:59pm and a homemaker after 6:00pm. The fact that I work equally hard to keep up with both tasks makes me successful and I love it.

I recommend a little homework for today.

Do you know what Success means to you? In case you have no idea what it means to you, I suggest you do some soul searching.

Make sure you write down all of your thoughts and feelings on paper.

Figure out what is it that you are looking for in life.

Find your purpose.

Define what your Passion is.

Set goals and make sure you keep them.

Are you still trying to put your 2010 agenda in order???

Everyone I talk to is trying to put things in the right order for 2010, from many different aspects of their lives. But is it really working??? I am not so sure!!!

Look, try these points out. Reflect on them and make them work for you.

1.- BE POSITIVE. When we are positive, we will radiate light from within us. I know it can be hard, especially after you realize how many obstacles and difficult times you had to encounter in the past couple of years. But, it is all up to you to adjust your mindset and make it happen. Being positive alllows you to stay motivated. When you are motivated, you work with passion. When you work with passion, is because you are aligned with your purpose. When your purpose is in place, you are properly balanced. Being balanced makes you happy and the cycle repeats itself. So, make sure that whatever happens to you, you make sure you STAY POSITIVE.

2.- STAY FOCUSED. In today's everyday life it is very easy to get out of focus. We find stupid excuses why not to do that important follow-up call, attend to that great meeeting, do our shopping after business hours. NOOOOOO, instead we decide to go shopping in the middle of the business day because less people are on the lines; we decide to spend endless hours checking your nonsense 300 emails a day you receive on your spam folder; talk to your best friend about how fabulous was your christmas dinner, etc,etc,etc... STOP WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME. Put it to good use by staying right on track with the activities that will produce the results you want for 2010. Remember what you focus on expands. So expand your own limits, stretch your muscles and move forward towards what you really really want.

I thought this blog would be a great tool to use and to network with each other, especially among all my friends in Facebook,Twitter and Blogtalkradio who follow me constantly. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!! I TRULY APPRECIATE IT.

The purpose of this blog will be to share and discuss many different topics, from personal issues to what we can do now to earn more money. Everyone is being bruised these past couple of years due to the economy, so I think it is time to recover, to look for solutions, to open new doors, to lift up our spirit, to stop complaining, to stop blaming the government or Wall Street or the Banks.

In a way, we are all responsible for this domino's effect. We all took advantage of the real estate market when it was booming; we all agreed to accept those adjustable mortgages that the banks we offering left and right; we all knew how fast the value of the homes were rising and we didn't care. So now, we are all experiencing the consequences of such decisions. And like everything in life, it takes time to fix past mistakes, so don't despair and do your part. What can you do to recover from these tough times???

In the next couple of weeks it will be 2010, and we all should be focused into growing, learning, moving forward and looking for new ways to be better off.

Leave your stress behind. Leave your debts behind. Leave your 2009 problems behind.

Change your mind and adopt a new attitude, just follow my own quote as it says:

"When you are lost, broke and feel cheap, turn around. Look into yourself and adopt a new attitude. Start walking, feeling, and smiling like a millionaire. You will feel better within the minute. Then keep it up for 21 consecutive days, and you will make it happen, whatever that is."
